BBB Accredited Charities that have met all 20 BBB Standards for Charity Accountability and have been in operation for at least two years may apply for use of the BBB Accredited Charity Seal. BBB Accredited Charity Seal Program participants pay the fee below and sign a licensing agreement.
Locally, BBB offers charities two convenient options for participating in the BBB Accredited Charity Seal Program:
Option 1: Use of Seal Only
Charities that wish to use the BBB Accredited Charity Seal in their publications and online pay the following annual fee:
If your charity’s total revenue for the past fiscal year was under $1M, the cost is $500.
If your charity’s total revenue for the past fiscal year was over $1M, the cost is $1,000.
Option 2: Use of Seal and Other BBB Benefits
Charities that wish to take advantage of the BBB Accredited Charity Seal plus receive the full range of benefits provided to BBB Accredited Businesses – which include, for example, a listing in our BBB Yellow Pages, worker’s compensation discounts (Ohio charities only), and discounts on BBB workshops and events – pay an annual fee based on employee count, and there is an additional charge for charities with multiple locations and affiliates.
